Jesus Christ died for our sins:

Thousands of years ago, God sent his only begotten Son to this earth who give his life for human beings.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life” (Romans 5:6-10).

Life

The day of Christ is at hand:

Jesus is very clear when he asks: “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8).

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).

“For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14).

“NOW we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, 14-15).Jesus prays in the clouds.

Wormwood

This photograph may trigger numerous reactions: ignored, shrugged off or believed by few people. But, make no mistake by the word of God it is going to happen!

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter” (Revelation 8:7-11).

For those who continue to ignore these warnings the prophet Jeremiah said: “O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters” (Jeremiah 17:13).

Although this heaven and earth will become dissolved, desolate and dilapidated as other planets in our Solar System (Isaiah 24:19), the word of God tells us that Jesus, our Lord and Savior will lead all those who are redeemed from this earth to new fountains of living waters in new heavens and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13).

“For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes” (Revelation 7:17).

“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;” (2 Peter 3:14-15).

Once in a blue moon

Fire and brimstone:

Every day we wake up we have a set routine to go about our day. However, one day will begin like any other day, but it will not end like yesterday. This day will commence events which will lead to the Last Day (Matthew 24:1-3) (John 6:39–40) (Revelation 11:18, 20:11-15).

Jesus warned that his coming will be just as in the days of Noah before the great flood destroyed the old world, and in the days of Lot before fire and brimstone destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jesus explained, saying: “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26-29)

“Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Remember Lot’s wife.

Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it” (Luke 17:30-33).

There is not going to be any place to run and hide on that day!

Jesus further expressed says: “For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:35-36).

Repent before it is too late:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

These words of God must be taken very seriously by every human being because the day is coming when this heaven and earth will pass away (1 Peter 21:33) (Mark 13:31) (2 Peter 3:10).

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

Believe because the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ says: “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:5). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

“For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:35-36).
Abstract apocalyptic background

Heaven and earth will pass away!

This may not be a known fact but, God regretted that he created human beings on the earth.

“God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart” (Genesis 6:5–6).

“And the LORD said, ‘I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.’ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” (Genesis 6:7–8).

If it was not for the fact that Noah found favor with God because he was a just man and walked with God, the human race would be extinct (Genesis 6:9–13). However, “Noah and his family were saved from the flood that destroyed the earth” (Genesis 8:18–20).

However, since the time that Noah and his family came out of the ark to inhabit the earth, Peter, a disciple of Jesus warned from his generation people who doubted that this heaven and earth will pass away, saying: “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:5-7).

Day of Judgment:

Jesus explains the events on the Last Day when he returns for the Day of Judgment (Matthew 24:1-3, 30), saying:

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 25:31-34).

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:41, 46).

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).

Alpha and Omega

Jesus explains in detail the events that took place at the beginning and will transpire at the end, saying:

“He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matthew 13:37–43).

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:8-9).

GOD

Jesus is the good shepherd:

Jesus was the First and is the Last (Matthew 13:37–43)!

Jesus explains saying:

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine” (John 10:10-14).

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

God

There is one God, one Creator or Maker who inhabits eternity (Genesis 1:1) (Isaiah 57:15).

“Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name” (Jeremiah 33:2).

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).
