“The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD” (Lamentation 3:24-26).
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).
Many people, unfortunately, fail to realize that this heaven and earth is only here for a time (1 Peter 21:33) (Mark 13:31) (2 Peter 3:10). Furthermore, mankind is not in control of the future because the God “…hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:24-26).
Every human being would be wise to try to King Jesus’ New Heavens and a New Earth where there is eternal life (John 3:16-18) (Isaiah 65:17-18, 66:22).
“The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken” (Isaiah 33:5, 20).
Jesus the only begoteen Son of God: Lord, Savior and King says: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
Although time will end on this earth God has given everyone the opportunity to inherit King Jesus’s everlasting kingdom (John 3:16-18).
Jesus says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
How many times have we wished we had more time? We can have all the time we need; it will never end; it will be timeless in everlasting habitations.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain” (Isaiah 66:22).
Time as we read this word is ticking away; literally ticking away. As a movie clicking away at the last frames which will soon end, or as water pouring out of a glass which will become empty, so too one day time will finally run out on the sound of the last trumpet, and then this earth will pass away (1 Peter 21:33) (Mark 13:31) (2 Peter 3:10). No human on this earth has the power to extend habitation on this earth.
Jesus says: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul” ( Proverbs 16:17).
“Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil” (Proverbs 4:25-27).
We have no need to be anxious or anxiety ridden about whether we will be able to meet our needs today because Jesus pointed out that we need not be concerned about what food we eat, clothing we wear, and so on. “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:24, 23).
Come to knowledge of and believe the truth because only the truth will make us free (John 8:32).
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12).
“Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup” (Psalm 11:6).
“For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:35-36).
The only entrance door to Eternal Life is through Jesus; there is no other door; there is no other Savior. The other door will lead to an ultimate dead end: second death (Revelation 20:12–15).
Jesus says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13–14).
“The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath” (Proverbs 15:24).
“They that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21).
“For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright” (Psalm 11:7). “The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness” (Jeremiah 4:2).
Before time ends on the Last Day, the Day of Judgment, and the end of the world, “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
