Forever, forever and forever!

“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever” (Psalm 119:160).

“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness; God will establish it forever” (Psalm 48:1, 8).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:8–9).

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23).

Paradise or Perdition?

Before this earth passes away, by the word of God there are only two outcomes after the Day of Judgment – Paradise, a place of everlasting habitations, or Perdition, a place of everlasting punishment.

Before the Last Day comes, while we are yet alive, we must make a decision before time runs out whether we would like to live forever or die of the second death (Revelation 20:12–15).

“And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Revelation 20:11, 14:11).

“Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” (Isaiah 33:14). “For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 4:24).

To not desire to live forever is to be led by spirit of error for and the desires, deceitfulness of riches, deceitfulness of sin and deception of the pleasures of life in this world which leads to perdition.

We would be wise to desire to live, not just for today, but beyond the Last Day. Desire this and we will live be led by the Spirit of God every day in the Kingdom of God. To desire to live forever would mean to finally be going home to Paradise (Psalm 46:4, 87:3)!

Eternity:

Every human being alive today, if they have not already done so, must ask this question: “Where would I like to spend eternity?”

To assist in answering this question here is the word of God:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16, 17-18).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, the Father says: “For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:21-24).

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

Keep the Faith:

Whenever we face in our daily lives from struggles, setbacks and so on, we must keep the faith knowing that Jesus overcame this world, and he has encouraged us to be of good cheer to also overcome to endure to the end (Matthew 10:22) (John 16:33) (Revelation 3:21).

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).

“The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD” (Lamentations 3:25-26).

All that has been done in secret is already known by God.

Absolutely nothing upon this earth is hidden from God. God’s eyes are upon all humankind (Proverbs 15:3) (Zechariah 4:10); and in time there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

“God that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?” (Psalm 94:9). “Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 23:24).

“There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings” (Job 34:21–22).

All that has been done in secret is already known by God. Jesus says: “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad” (Luke 8:17).

The Last Day on this earth:

Whether we are rich or poor, on the Last Day we must all face the judgment seat of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). “For God will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God” (Job 34:23).

“HEAR this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption” (Psalm 44:1-2, 6-9).

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7–8).

We only have a lifetime on this earth:

The word of God is very clear when it says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

“For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?” (Psalm 6:5).

“Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” (Ecclesiastes 9:7, 5 10).

On the Day of Judgment, the word of God says: “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2).

Jesus says: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).
Jesus

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

The disciple Peter expressed that Jesus “Whos is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, the Son of God, the faithful and true witness of God and that the trial of our faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen, we love; in whom, though we now see him not, yet believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end of our faith, even the salvation of our souls” (1 Peter 1:7–9).

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell” (Colossians 1:18–19).

Jesus revealed saying: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:8-9).

GOD

There is only one door leading to God.

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).

Therefore, for anyone to see and to be with God, this is only possible through Jesus, his only begotten Son (Matthew 11:27) (John 3:16-18, 14:6).

Jesus made it very clear when he was here on earth: “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him” (Matthew 11:27).

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Kingdom of Heaven:

We must not be deceived by money to accumulate riches in this world. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10).

Let us live by the example of our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus when he was offered the kingdoms of this world by the devil, said: “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Matthew 4:10).

The devil, aka Satan was a liar, a thief and a murderer from the beginning because Jesus expressed how, “He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, “He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep’” (John 10:1-2).

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:10-11).

In the end the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ: “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever’” (Revelation 11:15).
