The word of God said: “Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people” (Isaiah 55:4).
“BEHOLD my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles” (Isaiah 42:1).

JESUS is of the house and lineage of David, a Beth-lehemite; hence the city of David is called Bethlehem (Luke 2:1-4) (1 Samuel 16:1).
“And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel” (Matthew 2:6). “Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” (John 7:42).
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (Matthew 1:23). “And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins” (Luke 1:76-77).
“Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Philippians 4:20).
