Not in the sense of physical fitness but, ‘SPIRITUAL FITNESS’.
We must SPIRITUALLY workout EVERYDAY because our Lord Jesus says: “It is written, that man shall not [LIVE BY] bread alone, but by [EVERY] word of God” (Luke 4:4).
“It is the [SPIRIT THAT QUICKENETH]; the flesh profiteth nothing: the [WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE]” (John 6:63).
“No man, having [PUT HIS HAND TO THE PLOUGH, AND LOOKING BACK], is [FIT] for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).
“Nevertheless when the [SON OF MAN COMETH], shall he find [FAITH] on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).
“Now the just shall live by [FAITH]: but [IF ANY MAN DRAWS BACK, MY SOUL SHALL HAVE NO PLEASURE IN HIM]. But [WE ARE] not of them who draw back unto perdition; but [OF THEM THAT BELIEVE TO THE SAVING OF THE SOUL]” (Hebrews 10:38–39).
“It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the [SALVATION] of the LORD” (Lamentation 3:26).
“[TAKE HEED, BRETHREN, LEST THERE BE IN ANY OF YOU AN EVIL HEART OF UNBELIEF, IN DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD]. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [FOR WE ARE MADE PARTAKERS OF CHRIST, IF WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STEDFAST UNTO THE END]” (Hebrews 3:12-14).
