In respsone to various POSTS yesterday, there were numerous comments in response refusing to believe the word of God, and instead are holding on to beliefs that they will be so called “raptured” to heaven before the Great Tribulation.
We pray to God in the name of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ for those holding on to such FALSE beliefs to come to knowledge of the truth.
“We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:8).
“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and [LIE NOT AGAINST THE TRUTH]. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, [DEVILISH]. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” (James 3:14–16).
By the word of God, we have been warned that the time will come when many will not endure sound doctrine and will turn away their ears from the truth, which will be turned into fables (2 Timothy 4:3–4); “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).
“[FOR THIS IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR; WHO WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED, AND TO COME UNTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH]” (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:117-18).
The Apostle Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles expressed and warned to us, saying: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the [DAY OF CHRIST]” (Philippians 2:12, 1:10).
“For we must [ALL] appear before the [JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST]; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
We must live by the word of God which must be our guide in this lifetime. Do not fall for carefully crafted lies and deceit to dissuade us from the Truth.
Jesus says: “Blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28).
The word of God is the only Truth!
TO BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD IS TO BELIEVE THE TRUTH.
Let us be reminded that Jesus told his followers who BELIEVED HIS WORDS, saying: “If [YE CONTINUE IN MY WORD], then are ye my disciples indeed; and [YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH], and [THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE]” (John 8:31-32).
“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
