“We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:8).
“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” (James 3:14–16).
“And with all [DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS] in them that [PERISH]; because they [RECEIVED NOT] the [LOVE OF THE TRUTH], that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12).
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
We must stand firm and hold fast for the TRUTH.
Let us be reminded that Jesus told his followers who believed in him, saying: “If [YE CONTINUE IN MY WORD], then are ye my disciples indeed; and [YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH], and [THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE]” (John 8:31-32).
“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
