“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God expressed to his disciples saying: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
“For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:7-8).
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
“Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you” (1 John 3:13).
Jesus also says: “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth” (1 John 5:5–6).
“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
At the End of the world, “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
