Turn on the television to any main network/cable channel or open an internet browser to any main search engine or turn on the radio to any main radio station, and surely we would not see or hear anything repeatedly praising God for sending into this world his only begotten Son Jesus to this earth (John 3:16-17).
This is the irony of this all: Christmas is being celebrated without Jesus: the “Christ of God” or “Salvation of God” (Luke 9:20) (Luke 2:30-32).
The birth of Jesus Christ is probably the most significant event of time yet this holiday season the word of God is being ignored by countless people. However, let us spread and share the message of God’s love for us all (John 3:16-17) (1 John 4:8-10).
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end” (Luke 1:32-33).
