We are assured by the word of God that there are only angels dwelling in the heavens (Revelation 5:11-12) because at many times in the wilderness God fed the people of Israel manna from heaven. “Man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full” (Psalm 78:25).
We all have the same opportunity to one day eat angels’ food (John 3:16-18).
As it is written:
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel” (Hebrews 12:22–24).
Jesus revealed to John by the angel of God, said: “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it” (Revelation 2:17).
