“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by [EVERY] word of God” (Luke 4:4).
“It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name” (Amos 9:6).
The word of God must be revealed to us. Anyone who is trying to figure out the word of God will not come to knowledge of the truth; “…ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).
“We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:8).
Before Jesus left this earth he told his disciples, saying:
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Howbeit when he, [THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, IS COME, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH]: for [HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF]; [BUT WHATSOEVER HE SHALL HEAR, THAT SHALL HE SPEAK]: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:7, 13).
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).
