JESUS is ALIVE FOREVER – FOLLOW him to H E A V E N.

Jesus was made perfect after his crucifixion, death, and resurrection. “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him” (Hebrews 5:9). Jesus was glorified by the power of God. Jesus was once again given life. Jesus became immortal. Jesus can no longer die. Jesus has eternal life (Romans 1:2–4, 6:6) (1 Corinthians 15:20).

Jesus made reference to this in speaking about the resurrection: “God saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God is not the God of the dead, but of the living’” (Matthew 22:32).

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25-27).

“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5:26–27).

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

  1. “Jesus was made perfect”, in this regard, the epistle to the Hebrews is referencing Christ. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. He 2:16. Christ is the seed of Abraham.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.Ga 3:16.
The Son of God became the man named Jesus to fulfill all of God’s promises to man. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 1 Co 1:20.
Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man annuls, or adds thereto. Ga. 3:15.
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered He 5:8.
When Jesus the Son of God/son of man took on Christ upon the baptism of John and bore our sins through death by crucifixion, He perfected forever the Spirit of man for those who are sanctified “in Christ”.
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of justified men made perfect, Hebrews 12:23.
In Christ, we are already made perfect before God. In the flesh….not so, for therein is enmity with God. We must abide in Christ, to be Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.
I love your blog. As you continue faithfully therein, I look forward to receiving the blessing of fellowship, in Christ.
    James
