Every day that we exist on this earth it is because of the sure mercies of God.
“It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are [NEW EVERY MORNING]: great is thy faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Let us be reminded that Jesus told his disciples saying: “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross [DAILY], and follow me” (Luke 9:23). “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” (Matthew 10:38).
Therefore, the least that we must do every morning is to begin the day with PRAYER because Jesus the only begotten Son of God reminds us to so DAILY, saying:
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD]. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
