“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron” (1 Timothy 4:1-2); “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).
“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” (James 3:14–16).
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
“We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:8).
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
“Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
