“For surely there is an end” (Proverbs 23:18). Although God “laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever” (Psalm 104:5); this heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations (Matthew 24:35) (Mark 13:31) (Luke 21:33) (2 Peter 3:10). “The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly” (Isaiah 24:19).
“Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end” (Psalm 102:25-27).
God is “…from everlasting to everlasting…” (Psalm 90:2); therefore, keep looking up to the heavens to get to be with God and Jesus (Revelation 7:17).
